To realize this famous quote of Bhagavad Gita, Sanskriti Sanskrit SanskarShiksha Samiti, Village Barodi, Dist. Datia organized a 21 days free online yoga camp in collaboration with Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, Mhow-Indore and P.K. University, Shivpuri (M.P.).
The event is a part of “Yog Se Nirog” initiative taken by Govt. of M.P. The aim of this camp was to benefit the people during Covid Treatment, Post Covid Care and in daily practices.
The inaugural ceremony of this virtual yoga camp was held on 1st June 2021 in the dignified presence of Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal, Dr. Asha Shukla Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences Mhow and Dr. Y.M. Kool Hon’ble Vice Chancellor PK University, Thanra
In his speech, Dr. Shastri said that “Yoga unites the body, mind and soul. When you are in harmony, the journey through life is calmer, happier and more fulfilling”. He further added that “Yoga should be represented in the form of knowledge, philosophy, and art and not as mere exercise”. He also insisted to follow karma yoga (taken from Bhagavad Gita) in our lives.
The virtual sessions of yoga were held from 6:30 to 7:30 daily, morning as well as evening. Under this, along with yoga practice, experts from the subject of Naturopathy (Natural Medicine), Ayurveda, Sparsh Therapy (Reiki), Allopathy and Nutrition (Dietary Science) discussed ways to increase immunity and health related issues and proper counseling will also be provided.
