“Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu,
Guru Devo Maheshwara.
Guru Sakshath Parambrahma, Tasmai Shri Gurave Namaha.”
Guru Sakshath Parambrahma, Tasmai Shri Gurave Namaha.”
Education is the key to everything.
It is the key to peace and democratic stability, to jobs and economic growth,
to good health, to respect and harmony between different genders, faiths,
ethnic groups and communities. It is the key to billions of unique human beings
fulfilling their unique potential.
And teachers are the key to
education. You can have a school, college or university without a building,
without books and pens and desks and blackboards, and I suppose computers; But
you can’t have a school, college or University without teachers. It’s as simple
as that. Each one of us has had unforgettable experiences of being shaped and
influenced by wonderful teachers.
To regard the great Teacher &
Philosophist, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s Birthday, Teachers Day was
commemorated and rejoiced by Jagran Lakecity University on September 04, 2018
at Jehan Numa Palace, Bhopal. Both the teaching & non-teaching staff of JLU
had gathered merrily for the celebration dinner.
The function was inaugurated with
lamp lighting by Shri Hari Mohan Gupta, Chancellor JLU, Shri Abhishek Mohan
Gupta, Pro-Chancellor JLU, Prof. Dr Anoop Swarup, Vice Chancellor JLU, Special
Guests, Sanjeev Saxena and Nitin Ambaselkar. The program commenced with Shri
Hari Mohan Gupta addressing the audience with his stunning speech. Followed by
an effective speech delivered by Prof. Dr Anoop Swarup.
The speeches, addressing the vital
role of a teacher made everyone applaud in unison. A teacher is more than
a guide. One who can act all the parts, the parts of a companion, advisor or
mentor. A teacher can be the managing power in our lives even after we go
through the portals of our school and venture into the world that lies ahead to
be won.
The Major Highlight of this
celebration was the dance performances by the faculty itself. The crowd
roared with immense zeal and fervour, delighted in the moments of
playfulness. The programme culminated with savouring bites and cheerful
conversations among the JLU family.
